Live below the line

In less than a week, Restless Development are challenging you to live on £1 a day for 5 days for all your food and drink.

Why? Because Restless Development is doing the Live Below the Line Challenge. The campaign challenges people to live on £1 a day for food and drink for 5 days to raise awareness about the extreme poverty line under which 1.4 billion people live on £1 day each and every day to cover all living costs. By challenging ourselves we will raise money to support young people to address poverty and the most urgent issues facing them and the world. We see a generation of leadership that can bring about tremendous change and solve poverty.

We are inviting you to join us in the challenge and live on £1 a day for all food and drink for 5 days in 2013, from now until the end of May – and to get sponsored to do so!

By living off just £1 a day for food and drink, you will be using your daily experiences to bring to life some of the direct experiences of the 515 million young people currently living in poverty – that's over 8 times the population of the UK – and helping to make a real change. Every penny that you raise goes towards our vital work with young people in Africa and Asia.
