Unfortunately, there was a break-in at the College during the early hours of Friday 04 December, causing damage to two offices and one classroom on the ground floor.
We apologise for any disruption this may have caused as you entered the building on Friday.
The police cordoned off areas impacted within the College for their investigation and aided staff in directing all students requiring access, to the use the rear entrance. Sadly, the areas impacted prevented access to specialist facilities and equipment, which meant that one of our Foundation Learning groups was asked to remain at home for the day.
The damage and the security of the building are being dealt with by our building and maintenance contractors, Mitie, and we are expecting the matter to be resolved over the weekend.
The College is expected to be open as normal from Monday 07 December.
